Looking for Health & Safety work? Then grab your clipboard, my friend; the powers that be at iSAFE are looking for qualified Health & Safety consultants who really know their stuff when it comes to Health & Safety to help us out with some Health & Safety stuff.

Why the repetition of Health & Safety? Because we want to be absolutely clear about what this work entails. Health & Safety. Otherwise known as the most staggeringly tedious industry known to man. Are you SURE that this is the kind of work you want? 

Fair enough, then. If you’ve made it this far, you hopefully won’t be deterred by a list of job responsibilities:

• Deliver inductions, toolbox talks and carry out coordination meetings on client sites.
• Review compliance documentation such as RAMS, competency records and equipment inspections.
• Issue permits to work, to teams onsite.
• Conduct comprehensive health and safety audits and assessments for client facilities to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
• Help teams onsite maintain high standards of health and safety and hit all legal compliance factors, such as CDM.
• Collaborate with clients to establish emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, first aid protocols, and crisis management strategies.

At the moment, we’re just looking for contract workers to help on construction and engineering projects in the UK and further afield – we can’t promise anything permanent. But who knows where a contract may lead you? After all, if you’re bat-sh*t crazy enough to actively seek work in Health & Safety consultancy, then you’re probably a perfect fit for iSAFE.
